Mission Moment: The 4th Sunday of the Month will be Food Pantry Sunday. Each month, non-perishable non-expired donations will be gathered during the first hymn and blessed during service. The mission team will be rotating the donations to food pantries in the local area. Please help to feed those less fortunate. Items will be collected Sunday, Feb. 25th.
February Mission: Coupons to Care: Shoppers Needed! Our program is going 4 years strong next year and we have helped many families, individuals and organizations. Please save your coupons and put them in Sharon Quackenbush’s mailbox. These are used to help feed our neighbors through food banks and emergency requests. We can’t do it without each one of you so we Thank You. For more information please contact Sharon Quackenbush, Karen Hojsik or Joyce Neumann.
Counters Needed: If you can count from 1 to 10 and are willing to help out on Monday mornings from 10:00 am to approx. 12:00 pm probably once every 5 weeks, we could use your help. We’re looking for offering counters. So if you and your spouse or you and another church member friend are willing to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact the church office (648-4339) if you feel this is a gift you would like to give to the church.
Volunteers Needed: As the weather begins to get nicer the church could use some members willing to do some outside work in the church gardens. It would include cleaning out the flower beds and areas along the front of the church and in the area outside the sliding glass doors near the offices. If you are willing to do this please contact the church office.
Please continue to watch either the e-mail blasts, the church bulletin, the newsletter or a new project board currently in the works by the Trustees.
Church Women United, Project No Bake Bread: Month of February: Save heating your oven to bake and send a donation to Karen Holman 17 Wisconsin Dr., Binghamton, NY 13901 or bring it to the March 2, World Day of Prayer meeting. Make checks out to CWU and write NO BAKE BREAD on the memo line.
Liturgists Needed: If you would like to volunteer to be a liturgist please contact Pam Wasley or the church office 648-4339. If you cannot do a month at a time, that is fine. We will fill in the weeks around what you can do.
